STRESZCZENIE
Wstęp: W obecnych czasach, ze względu na zjawisko osteointegracji, leczenie implanto-protetyczne stało się standardem w stomatologii dla pacjentów z bezzębiem, częściowymi brakami lub brakami pojedynczego zęba, polepszając ich jakość życia oraz wygląd. Odbudowy na implantach mogą być przykręcane, cementowane. Decyzję w jaki sposób osadzić odbudowę protetyczną na implancie podejmuje się w trakcie planowania leczenia implanto-protetycznego, oceniając korzyści i straty wynikające z danej metody. Cel pracy: przedstawienie korzyści i wad sposobów osadzania uzupełnień protetycznych na implantach na podstawie przeglądu piśmiennictwa. Materiał i metody: Przeszukano bazę PUBMED z artykułami w języku angielskim z lat 2000-2020, wykorzystując słowa kluczowe: „screwretained implant-supported restorations”, „cement-retained implant-supported restorations”, „screw- versus cement-retained restorations”. Wyniki: Z 746 publikacji, do opracowania wybrano 20 artykułów dotyczących metod osadzania suprastruktur na implantach. Wnioski: Nie ma konsensusu co do najlepszego rodzaju retencji dla stałych uzupełnień na implantach. Lekarze muszą zdecydować, co jest lepsze, planując leczenie. Jedna i druga metoda mają swoje wady i zalety.

SUMMARY
Nowadays, implant-prosthetic treatment has become a standard in dentistry due to the phenomenon of osseointegration for patients with toothlessness, partial missing or missing a single tooth, improving their quality of life and appearance. Implant restorations can be screwed or cemented. The decision on how to place the prosthetic reconstruction on the implant is made when planning the implant-prosthetic treatment, assessing the benefits and losses of a given method. Aim of the study: to present the advantages and disadvantages of the methods of placing prosthetic restorations on implants based on a literature review. Material and methods: PUBMED database was searched for articles in English from 2000-2020, using the following keywords: "screwretained implant-supported restorations", "cement-retained implant-supported restorations", "screw-versus cement-retained restorations". Results: Out of 746 publications, 20 were selected for analysis describing the results of research on (fixing suprastructures on implants). Conclusions: There is no consensus about the best type of retention for fixed implant-supported restorations. Clinicians have to decide which is better, while planing the treatment. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages.
